Immortality is a fickle thing. Many would fight tooth and nail to have that power in reality. But when it's given to you by a curse, immortality soon twists into this horrifying nightmare that you are unable to wake from.
When two human souls are cursed with immortality, they vow to each other that no matter the cost, they will rid themselves of the curse, even if it means leaving this world behind.
